Ultimately, it should help you make your own mind up when you seek instruction for your own child. This article should help you know what to look for and what to avoid. While I do believe that most martial arts schools and programs for children are utterly ineffective to the point of being a waste of time and money for parents and children, there are many schools that are fabulous and add value to the lives of all involved.
